Well, seeing soccer players diving and begging for a penalty kick is not something new at all unfortunately. But I hoped that there was a limit.
That limit was pushed far and beyond by a player in the Australian League, check this out:
His name is Besart Berisha and the penalty was awarded in the dying minutes of the 2011-12 A-League Grand Final.
It's quite obvious that he swung and tripped like a complete moron, nobody touched him, but he had the nerve to ask for the penalty kick, then celebrated after the referee awarded it and then even took the penalty himself to score the winning goal!
I know, some might consider me a purist, but you just can not do something like this. And that's mainly out of respect for your opponents, who play the same game to earn a living.
