Chelsea have won the Champions League last weekend, against all odds and for the first time in the club's history. But that does not necessarily mean that two of its heroes will remain at Stamford Bridge.
Didier Drogba
He scored the equaliser in the final against Bayern Munich and then bagged the decisive penalty. But the club still seems unwilling to agree on a new two-year contract and that might mean that Drogba will be packing his bags soon.
Roberto Di Matteo
He was appointed as interim manager for the last three months of the season and grabbed the FA Cup and the Champions League. But that might not be enough to persuade Roman Abramovich, the club owner, to give Di Matteo a permanent role as manager.
What do you think about these two issues?
I guess I am a bit sentimental, unlike Abramovich who is a business man before anything else, but I will surely do my best to keep both those men at the club, at least for one more season.
