Some of you already know that a soccer player from Italy collapsed on the pitch during a Second Division match last Saturday because of a heart attack and, unfortunately, he passed away. All the soccer matches in Italy were postponed because of that, a good decision in my view.
But there's something even better that happened after the sad event.
Piermario Morosini, the poor lad that died, was on loan at Second Division side Livorno from top-flight club Udinese. He had a special situation in his family, as he was the one taking care of his handicapped sister after both his parents had passed away.
Well, Udinese's captain, Antonio Di Natale, has announced that he will take custody of Piermario's sister and take care of her from now on. The club has also announced that they will help him in any possible way to provide care to her.
That's what a team is about, and that's what sports should be about: team spirit, helping each other and being ready to take a blow for your team mate.
