Atletico Madrid have won the Europa League last night, they defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in Bucharest. Nothing unusual so far. After the final whistle Bilbao's players were in tears, Atletico's were celebrating. So far, so good.
But it gets better. Diego Simeone, the Atletico Madrid coach, had his players form a corridor before the tunnel that leads to the dressing rooms. The Atletico players and staff waited for their rivals to leave the pitch in order to congratulate them for the effort and give some sort of consolation.
That's how sports should be.
