Ciao,
HI,
It is a bit complicated to give a precise definition of a game of skill or skill game.
However, we can consider skill games all those games in which skill has a weight in determining the final outcome.
Obviously if we were to find the most obvious example of a game of skill we would certainly mention chess. But, due to complexity and time, it would be difficult to offer on an online casino.
Even in online casinos there is often a section dedicated to skill games.
Currently it is possible to find traditional card games in this category but this was not always the case.
A few years ago, for a short period of time, some sites such as Lottomatica or Bwin made "match3" type games available.
You had to try to reach the highest score in a time ranging from one to three minutes.
For example, on Lottomatica you could play king.com skill games, in sitngo and tournament modes.
I particularly remember CandyCrush, Miner Speed and CrescendoCatcher which were my favorites.
Obviously in a game of skill with a specific or timed number of moves, especially if this is limited, there may be factors to consider such as the stability of the connection or the quality of the device used.
All to say that gaming companies are currently neglecting the opportunity to broaden and enrich their skill game offerings.
And I honestly don't understand the reason given that this type of game, in addition to being more fun and stimulating, is the most successful.
The rules are simple, require little time and you can compete for money or even just for fun.
There are sites that allow you to play skill games but generally the games are not very fun, the graphics and gameplay are limited, and the game modes are not stimulating.
For example, a prize could be reserved for whoever sets the new scoring record on a specific game.
Old traditional video games or pinball machines could be added to match3 type games.
Now it's your turn to play... express your thoughts! :)
